Put your actual pet in your game

Every game is better with your dog in it. The hard part was always turning a real, fluffy, non-pixel animal into a sprite that still reads as them.

Upload two or three photos as references and the generated sprite keeps the markings, the build, and the attitude. Then the character creator animates it like any other character: idle, walk, run.

How it works

1

Upload the photos

Two or three shots from different angles work best: front, side, and a profile. These become the style and likeness reference.

2

Generate the sprite

Prompt something like "this dog as a pixel art game character" and adjust until the markings and proportions feel right.

3

Animate them

Send the sprite to the character creator and pick animation sets. Idle, walk, and run, exported as sprite sheets.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos do I need?+
Two or three from different angles is the sweet spot. One photo works, but a side view makes the body shape and markings land better.
Does it work for cats, birds, or weirder pets?+
Yes. Dogs and cats are the common case, but anything you can photograph can become a sprite: rabbits, parrots, lizards.
Which animations can my pet get?+
The same sets as any character: idle, walk, run, and the rest. Four-legged gaits come out looking right for the body.
What do I do with the sprite afterwards?+
Anything. Put them in your game as a companion NPC, export the sheet for your engine, or just keep the looping idle as the best picture of your pet that exists.
Can I use my pet sprite commercially?+
Yes. Everything you generate is yours, including in games you sell. Your pet asks only for credit in the form of treats.
