Pixel Grid Detector
Someone upscaled your pixel art and now it's 4x too big with blurry edges? Drop it here. We'll figure out the real resolution and give you a clean version back.

Frequently asked questions
Why does AI pixel art look blurry?+
Most image models don't paint on a real pixel grid. They render "mixels", soft blocks at odd sizes that pass for pixel art at a glance but smear and bleed when you zoom in.
What does the pixel grid detector do?+
It works out the resolution the art was meant to be, then rebuilds it on that grid. You get real pixel art back at its true size, with crisp edges and clean colors instead of an upscaled blur.
What images work best?+
Art scaled up with nearest-neighbor (hard, square blocks) reads most reliably. Heavily smoothed or bilinear-upscaled images are harder to pin down, so results vary. After detection you can also cap the colors for a tighter palette.

Bring your sprites to life
Now that you've got clean pixel art, you can animate it. SpriteCook generates walk cycles, idles, and attack sequences from a single static sprite.
